Job Description
At AT&T our amazing people, combined with a culture that thrives on collaboration and creativity, are the foundation that create a great place to work. We empower our people to push the limits of what’s possible, driving groundbreaking innovation each and every day. We’re redefining the future of entertainment and mobile communications, and we’re ready for you to play a big part in that future too
This position has the broad responsibility to improve CX for AT&T TV. This requires the strategist to independently exercise judgment on the right questions to ask, the right way to formulate recommendations, and the right place to socialize and drive the recommendations. Once the pain point is identified the strategist will build a roadmap of improvements to address, and work with the VP and SVP level to gain buy-in and funding. This is a high visibility position that requires the ability to compile the story and recommendation into a deck, and deliver and defend that deck to the officer level. While some CX insights can be found without data analytics, the vast majority of what needs to change in the products will rely on being able to indirectly manage an analyst to uncover the insight and make the case for change.
There are no established procedures in this position. In the course of their work, they will tackle problems that have not been seen before. Due to their autonomy, they have the ability to fully define the question being asked, the tools and methods used for the analysis, and the insights that are brought forward for consideration.
This position will directly impact the future CX, and therefore churn / profitability, or our AT&T TV product. If this position is successful, customers will benefit and the company will be successful.
This position will provide leadership in the team environment, be self-directed, and work independently with analysis on research projects. Responsible for leveraging strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret disparate, complex data into a range of alternate futures. Utilize research skills and evaluate competitive and industry dynamics. Leverage standard strategy frameworks and apply analysis. Integrate both financial and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions. Distill core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of conclusions. Demonstrate a strong skillset presenting hypotheses, conclusions, and recommendations to senior management.
