Independence & Conflicts Network
The Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN) performs a critical consultative, quality-assurance and risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms, helping the organization remain unbiased and free from conflicts-of-interest, in fact and appearance, when providing service to attest/audit clients. Independence requirements are defined by specific sets of policies, external rules and regulations, so maintaining both the independence of the Deloitte US Firms and personal independence is essential to the business and reputation of Deloitte.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 to $115,775
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance

Work you'll do
As a Lead Compliance Analyst on the Enterprise Portfolio Management-KM team, you'll use your project management skills, analytical, research, communication, and investigative skills in the following areas:
- Participating in the development and/or review of independence related firm guidance materials, training, presentations and other firm communications/learning materials;
- Establishing, developing and maintaining working relationships with leadership team and partners, locally and globally to facilitate the ease in which application of independence policy can be achieved;
- Providing support for multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously;
- Communicating, both orally and in writing, key project milestones;
- Working both independently and in a team environment;
- Participating on special projects, as needed; and
- Supervising domestic and global resources
In addition, your skills may be leveraged in other areas within our ICN EPM-KM team, including:
- Leading coordination with KM resources for ICN's Knowledge Management System, including maintenance activities and working with information technology resources
- Coordinating multiple internal resources, both people and systems, to deliver thought leadership and strategic direction in the areas of independence policy implementation and communication and execution of the Firm's strategy;
- Participating in the summarization and articulation of changes in policy application to firm practitioners

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors' degree (preferably business, finance, or accounting)
- 4+ years of related experience
- Strong oral and written communications
- Outstanding attention to detail along with strong technical, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or proven success working with professional and regulatory requirements affecting audits of financial statements, and in particular, the independence rules established by the SEC, AICPA, PCAOB, IESBA, and other relevant regulators and standard-setters, preferably in a global network of professional services firms.
- S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other similar professional certification
- Experience with accounting and/or Independence pronouncements, standards, and rules
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards
- An understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms
- Public accounting or consulting experience
