About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Compensation Consultant within our Total Rewards Team to support our newly implemented Enterprise Job Architecture. For additional information on this line of business, refer to the external Careers Site at https://www.wellsfargojobs.com/enterprise-functions/ .

In this role you will:
  • Partner with various members of the broader human resource team, aligned partners and managers to design, deliver and communicate complex solutions for the global enterprise where analysis requires an evaluation of tangible and intangible variance factors
  • Flawlessly lead, manage and execute against enterprise compensation related projects that support our HR transformation - specifically, the newly implemented Job Architecture initiative and migration to Workday
  • Provide market informed job and compensation structure solutions for the global enterprise in response to changing business strategies
  • Analyze internal and external compensation data utilizing quantitative, financial and statistical tools to price jobs, and manage special projects
  • Make informed and balanced decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of facts, data, risks, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Effectively communicate and manage through difficult conversations while maintaining partnerships, to influence optimal solutions for varied stakeholders
  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that may require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, including facts, data, intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle level to more experienced managers to achieve goals
  • Take initiative and work independently to accomplish enterprise goals and objectives
Position Locations Include: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; Phoenix, AZ; San Antonio, TX; Dallas, TX; Saint Louis, MO; Salt Lake City, UT; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; Chicago, IL; Philadelphia, PA - position will require onsite presence in a hybrid arrangement.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding incentive compensation and risk management
  • Experience in job structure, pricing and analysis activities, evaluation and architecture design/implementation.
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
  • Ability to manage evolving and complex projects in a large enterprise environment
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
