Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONLead Caregiver must have a genuine desire to help others, excellent business and personal references, and pass all background checks. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and previous experience in direct patient care and in an office/support role, preferably in a medical/health care related industry. Some post high school education/training or a degree highly preferred. He or she must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to work in a fast paced environment and proficiency with computers and business software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports and coordinates between all departments in order to ensure that all client and employee needs are addressed in a timely manner
- Helps with daily activities of the office, such as answering phones, tracking and ordering supplies, distributing paychecks, and resolving problems/issues for personnel
- Takes on-call duty when necessary or as scheduled
- Responds to unpredicted situations such as emergencies and assignment or schedule changes and supports office employees and/or field personnel as needed
- Ensures compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Ensures completion of all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Communicates with clients, families, co-workers, and supervisors regarding care
- Performs other duties as needed to facilitate office and field operations
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Previous direct patient care experience required
- Previous experience in an office/support role, preferably in a medical or health care related role
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
