As the Lead Analyst, Technology Portfolio, you will be responsible for financial dashboards, budget management, resource management and Planview projects and programs for the North America IT organization. You will oversee tracking of all capital and operational expenditures and resources throughout the year and drive the annual budgeting process with all of the business unit leaders. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Budget and track all North America Transport IT department resources
  • Maintain and improve financial dashboards by closely aligning with IT leaders
  • Establish and build close working relationships with the finance and accounting departments and within the North America Transport team
  • Track large initiatives that require an understanding of resource movement and budgetary impacts
  • Institute new processes to ensure operations run smoothly
  • Select and implement new tools that drive value for the technology innovation teams

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 4 years of finance and budgeting experience
  • An understanding of Opex and Capex and accounting terminology
  • Extensive Excel experience and ability to manage large and complicated excel files
  • Experience in project and portfolio management tools
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large budgets ($50M+)
  • Experience with budgeting and tracking actuals within an organization

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience as an active Planview admin
  • Experience with establishing Planview projects with program managers
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
  • M&A /Divestiture knowledge
