Position Summary : The Laundry & Linen Aide is responsible to collect, process, launder, and deliver hospital linens.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, pack and label all linens by hospital units
- Fold clean linens after washing and drying. Keep on record all discarded linen on a daily basis
- Prepare special wash packages of linen for distribution to off-site campuses
- Assist in uniform exchange and distribution process
- Clean the washing machine and dryers on a daily basis
Requirements:
- Preferred High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
