Laser Operator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Upload/Download CNC programs to the machine
• Perform program edits
• Make necessary adjustments to the external beam delivery system. (Beam/Tip Alignment, Focal Point Adjustment, Optics Handling and Cleaning.)
• Run and document production data, as required, per routing instructions
• Perform material handling functions including packaging, forklift and crane operation
• Work with the Production Scheduler to Load and schedule material and programs
• Unload, sort and inspect cut parts as they are removed from laser
• Maintain proper stock levels in storage racks
• Perform and log laser and FMS maintenance at appropriate intervals
