Laser Assistant

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure all parts are produced on time and are of good quality with weekly deadlines to meet.

• Assist in all operations of Laser Department (stenciling, parts preparation).

• Load/unload materials onto the laser table.

• Read and check complex program before lasering of parts. Report errors to supervisor for correction.

• Accurately count the number of pieces ran.

• Assist with paperwork in Laser Department.

• Assist in drawing and developing new parts and programs.

• Responsible for care and daily preventive maintenance on the equipment in use.

• Follow all safety guidelines and report violations, accidents and near misses to supervisor.

• Assist in the training of new personnel on safety, production, and quality standards and procedures.

• Follow instructions given by supervisor.

• Responsible for housekeeping in your area.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Team Player.

• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Ability to follow company safety procedures and processes.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

• Computer proficiency.

Physical Demands:

• Lifting of up to 20 lbs is required on a regular basis.

• Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Overtime is required about once a month on Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
