  • Trains, supervises, and assists crew members in the performance of proper horticultural practices and techniques required in planting of trees, shrubs and ground covers.
  • Special events such as cleanup or rough mowing of native areas, and irrigation installation and repair work. Apply pesticides as required, only after receiving safety training.
  • Utilizes company practices in landscape installation, maintenance and irrigation installation and repair while setting a positive example of behavior, attitude and work ethic to crew members, customers and public.
  • It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Utility Foreman to cooperate with the direction and utilize a full understanding of the Company's policies and procedures in completing the work assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 3+ years in a supervisor role. Ability to effectively understand and communicate with your manager and fellow crew members. Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to efficiently coordinates crew members, materials and equipment required for the completion of assigned tasks within the hours budgeted for the landscape improvement quotation or time and material work orders.
  • Experience in implementing company’s policy is strictly adhered to and safe, professional workmanship is practiced. Evaluates performance of crew members.
