Landscape Laborer

Evergreen Landscape is looking for individuals experienced in commercial landscape maintenance and/or landscape installation. This individual can work with a landscape crew or able to handle assigned tasks by crew leader. Ability to work and communicate with the crew and crew leader on a daily basis and through out the day to ensure work is being done in an efficient way.

Individuals must have reliable transportation.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Performs landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, string trimming, edging, weed control, trimming, and pruning
• Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, hedge trimmers etc.
• Performs landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, Trees’s and shrubs, sod, etc
• Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the forrman as appropriate
• Assists Foreman with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available
• Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader
• Applies chemicals with all required protective equipment
• Performs other duties as required

Job Requirements:

Must have the following requirements:
-a minimum of 2 years experience
-must be able to operate all machines (walk-behinds, riders, weed eaters, edgers, blowers and back pack sprayers.)

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Landscape Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
