Job Summary:

Landscape Foremen have the responsibility to lead and direct crews, communicate with clients, plan workflow and manage production efficiency to maintain time deadlines. Physical labor is required for this position. Job locations are throughout Colorado Springs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a landscape crew of 1-4 team members.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Landscape Supervisor regarding project and customer status.
  • Manage team members including training, crew development and individual team member issues.
  • Assist with securing all materials and equipment needed.
  • Coordinate efficient project progression.
  • Maintain quality standards while completing projects on time.
  • Demonstrate dependability and efficient work practices.
  • Maintain positive client relations and answer on-site client questions.
  • Provide clear communication to clients on the project status.
  • Ensure safe use of tools and equipment.
  • Organize crew’s truck, trailer, and equipment.

Specific Job Details

  • A commitment to full working hours (40-50 hrs/week) throughout the complete season (April-October, and often extends to March - November) is required for this position.
    • Typical workweek Monday – Friday, 7am-6pm. Occasional Saturdays based on weather.
  • Winter schedule will include cold weather landscape projects, fire mitigation, snow plowing, additional training, attendance at home show weeks.
  • Other job tasks as required or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience within the landscape industry.
  • Landscape Industry Certification (LIC) is required within one year of obtaining this position.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation issues.
  • Agreement to the Fisk Lawnscapes Code of Conduct.
