We are looking for our next Laborer/Crane Rigger & Signalperson to join our team. RDF Builders is proud to offer special training to our employees to help meet job requirements.
You will be expected to perform your work by:
- Prepare materials for crane lift.
- Guides load into place; unloads at location.
- Communicates with crew and crane operator in order to get materials supplied in the proper work areas.
- Performing jobsite clean up (lumber pickup and sorting, garbage cleanup, sweeping, etc.). Moving and emptying garbage into dumpsters.
- Performing gate monitor duties, including maintaining daily attendance log, screening all visitors and workers by taking temperatures while maintaining social distancing.
- Delivering, unloading, and moving materials (lumber, door, windows, paint, tools, cabinets, etc.) to work area.
- Setting, removing, and cleaning forms during concrete work.
- Pouring concrete while using a wheelbarrow and/or pump hose.
- Assisting with demolition work.
- Providing traffic control, flagger certified.
- Assisting with building and gate lockup.
- Operating forklift as instructed, forklift certified.
- Assisting with problem solving.
- Maintaining a safe and respectful work place.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
You are qualified if:
- You demonstrate knowledge and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Rigger & Signalperson certfication.
- Requires depth perception to prepare/rig load.
- You are a high school graduate or equivalent.
- You have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- You are able to read blueprints, use and read a tape measure, and do basic math problems.
- You demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team.
- You have good organizational skills.
- You have experience with the use of two-way radios, power tools, and hand tools; such as 10-12" crescent wrenches, hammers, shovels, pallet jacks, bobcats, compactors, jack hammers, brooms, etc.
