Barrett Paving Materials Inc. is seeking individuals to join our team as a general laborer on our commercial side of the business (Southern Ohio Paving)to work in the Cincinnati and or Dayton areas as part of a milling, paving and or general construction crew. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter that can also function well with co-workers. A qualified candidate will have graduated from either high school or vocational school and must have physical strength (to lift 75 pounds), hand-eye coordination, and endurance to work in various outdoor weather conditions while concentrating on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential. Computer skills and mechanical aptitude may be helpful for future development. Basic knowledge of construction / paving tools is helpful and will train on specifics. Applicant must be able to work varying shifts and long hours dependent on market demands.
