Laborer

Job Summary

Laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor on heavy highway, road and bridge construction projects. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Flagging traffic passing near, in, or around work zones; control set-up and may assist other craft workers and perform other labor related duties as instructed by supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience

• Physical ability to perform assigned tasks
• General labor skills
• Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of all types
• Knowledge of operating a variety of other equipment and instruments is a plus
• Flagging and Traffic Control certification a plus
• At least 1 year heavy highway, road and bridge construction experience
• Previous flagging and traffic control experience
