JOB DESCRIPTION
Schedule: Monday- Friday with rotating Weekends and Holidays
Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Lab Assistant and Driver demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Lab Assistant and Driver encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary patient care at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Lab Assistant and Driver.
Lab Assistant and Driver Job Functions:
- Test Order Entry
- Blood Collection, including offsite facilities
- Specimen Transport
- Distribution of samples for in-house testing
- Phlebotomy

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Required:
- High school diploma
- Preferred: Associates Degree in a chemical, physical or biological science, previous lab and phlebotomy experience
Minimum Experience Required:
- Data entry, medical terminology and customer service
