Job Description
Our stewards play an important role in support of a number of vital restaurant functions. At 101 Hospitality these associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, banquet operations) to support cleaning needs. Whether it is counting plates and utensils, preparing spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations), or transporting dishware across the establishment, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas.
  • Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing.
  • Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue.
  • Breakdown dirty bus tubs.
  • Dispose of glass in the proper containers.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.
