SUMMARY
The Kitchen Manager and operator is responsible for managing the day to day Kitchen operations. Managing and execution of preparing and managing food service operations within The Kitchen. Follow and enforce all in house policies, procedures and meets with all federal and state requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and assist in the day-to-day operations at The Kitchen and possible assist in remote food truck kitchen.
- Assist in training and overseeing kitchen staff.
- Assist with planning for and purchasing food for daily operations.
- Working directly with the owner for reporting and planning.
- Assist with planning menus reviews and updates.
- Assist with setting prices for each product on menu.
- Assist with planning, budgets and marketing.
- Maintain required records including food production, inventory, income/expense, meal counts and personnel records.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures, and ensure any food truck staff members do so.
- Perform varies duties on the food truck, including cook, food preparers, and cashier.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained while food is being cooked.
- Able to prepare and serve the food.
- Maintain equipment including refrigerator, stove, prep table and cookware.
- Ensure customer dining experience is satisfactory.
- Respond to customer preferences and complaints.
- Expedite food.
- Deliver orders to appropriate customers.
- Direct the cleaning of the truck and kitchen.
- Maintain records and complete paperwork to comply with laws and regulations.
- Keep records of supplies and purchases.
Additional Requirements:
- Clean driving record and able to be insured.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Certifications: Serve Safe
- Required experience: Line cook, minimum 2 years; management experience a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
