Topdrawer is the American-based division of Itoya, a leading premium retailer and manufacturer based in Tokyo, Japan. We currently operate nine thriving stores between Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles along with 2 locations in Japan. Topdrawer stores are our community hubs, where we offer what we’ve trademarked “Tools for Nomads.” Our focus is on offering the creative class (architects, designers, entrepreneurs, writers, scientists, etc.) useful tools. Our target audience is driven people who live nomadic lives and don’t necessarily work in one place. People who, in the course of a day, might work on a plane, train, café, or park bench before ending up at their office or studio. Their tools need to be mobile. Roughly 50% of our sales originate from products that are exclusive to our company. A career at Topdrawer demands creativity and ambition – and offers the opportunity to build an exciting career in a fast-paced multi-cultural company headquartered in downtown Boston.
