Kennel Assistant

The North Reading Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time (potentially full-time) kennel assistant.

Job tasks include:

-Walking dogs

-Feeding and medicating boarding pets (cats and dogs)

-Stocking hospital treatment area and exam rooms

-Assisting veterinary technicians in daily tasks

-Keeping hospital grounds and building clean and organized

Our ideal candidate must be a self starter with a high attention to detail. Looking for someone who can keep busy without constant direction and can be a positive team player. Weekend availability is a must. Some split shifts may be required. Experience in the field is not required as long as candidate is comfortable with animals and willing to learn.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.25 - $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
