Location: Alpena, MI
All Saints Catholic School (ASCS) is currently accepting applications for a K-8 Elementary Teacher in grades 1st and 4th for the 2021-2022 academic school year.
About All Saints Catholic School:
All Saints Catholic School (ASCS) is a PK through 8th grade school offering exceptional faith based educational experiences, STEM based school programs and activities for students. Our faculty is comprised of a highly motivated spiritual team, with small sized classrooms, driven by teamwork and results.
Position Summary:
In addition to teaching core area subjects, candidates must be able to create an inspiring STEM based classroom environment that is faith filled, as well as committed to helping students grow spiritually and creatively. Essentials include establishing and maintaining effective relationships with students, parents and teachers.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (preferred). Two years’ experience working with elementary or middle school aged students preferred.

- Travel to school by designated arrival time
- Utilize online technology to enhance classroom education that can easily transition to distance learning.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (in any concentration).
- Be able to use technology, conduct and attend virtual meetings.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Strong soft skills – including interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to establish professional working relationships with, parents, teachers and administrators.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong desire to help our students succeed in education using Christ’s virtues.
- Some experience working with school-age children in education preferred, but not required.
- Must be receptive to working with grades PK - 8.
