Responsibilities
Work with department heads and team leaders to gather requirements, document solution design, configure the Salesforce application, and work with the IT team to ensure successful engagements and develop a high performing software solutions to meet corporate needs.
Specific Duties
- Develop custom and out of the box solutions using Salesforce functionality (APEX,
SOQL, Lightning Components, etc.)
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products
- Develop the Salesforce solution per the defined user stories
- Support both front and back-office systems, including but not limited to the force.com platform and SQL/MySQL based systems
- Participate in the full application life cycle from discovery to development.
- Provide technical documents for reference and future maintenance for the developed software.
- Design, code, and configure solutions on force.com that impact multiple platforms and products
- Integrate Salesforce with legacy systems and external APIs to meet desired development goals and optimize software functionality
- Debug complex issues spanning multiple systems to meet acceptance criteria
- Provide support to senior application developer on technical projects
- Work with product owners and business analysts to analyze technical requirements for new features/capabilities within Salesforce
- Support the roll-out of enhancements to the production environment, which includes coordination of all IT areas involved
- Provide support to business users as needed

Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 1-year experience on the Salesforce Lightning Platform using Process
Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, APEX, Workbench, SOQL, and SOSL, etc.
- Minimum of 1-year experience on a development team using a modern programming language (Apex/Java/Flutter)
- Strong technical design skills and an ability to deliver custom solutions
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Have a desire and ability to solve complex business processes with software
- Be highly driven and able to self-manage in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Have strong interpersonal skills to communicate (written and verbal) with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide instructional and technical documents for reference and/or maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-departmental team for code review, unit testing, and deployment.
- Support post-deployment activities, including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes
- Build rapport and develop effective working relationships with employees across the company
- Knowledge of industry-standard integration patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, Webhooks)
Preferred Skills
- Development experience with force.com, Salesforce Lightning Platform, and SQL or MySQL is required
- Experience in Xcode and Flutter for application development
- Dell Boomi experience for back-office integration
- Salesforce.com Certifications preferred
- Development experience with SQL/MySQL and HTML language
