While this is an entry- to mid-level position, the successful candidate for this position should have a skill set which would allow them to progress to more senior management roles as they gain more experience.

The Hoplite Group, a growing veteran-owned small business, is seeking a Junior Program Manager to support our U.S. Government customers. While this is an entry- to mid-level position, the successful candidate for this position should have a skill set which would allow them to progress to more senior management roles as they gain more experience.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Maintain ongoing day to day interaction as needed with corporate management, subcontractors, prime customers, and employees or consultants on contracts regarding administrative issues, operational matters, billing questions, contractors’ hours, project reports, invoicing etc.
- Acts as SPOT administrator.
- Submits contract data items such as periodic progress/performance reports, or other contractually required documentation.
- Facilitates operations and support of staffing, logistics, and mobilization of personnel - CONUS and OCONUS.
- Administers oversight of FTEs positions and engages with strategic partners and prime/sub-contractor management.
- Assists in preparation of monthly invoices, including payroll reports, and organizing invoice supporting documentation.
- Manages requests and updates for contractual requirements and insurance, including DBA.
- Searches government and commercial sites for new opportunities
- Assists with proposal writing and compliance support, in response to federal government RFPs.
- Assistant Facility Security Officer
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide direction to others to resolve contract administration issues.
- Moderate knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements
- Ability to work with varying senior levels, including management and external partners.
- Excellent internal and external teamwork skills.
- Outstanding time-management skills, ability to coordinate internal and external activities.
- Capacity to grasp strategic/operational guidance and direction, then achieve results.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is a minimum required
- Government Secret Clearance
- Minimum 3 years of government contract/program support experience required. Ideally but not required, project management or contracting certifications are pluses
