Overview:


We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Front End Developer. This role will be an integral member of our team creating web pages to support both our Marketing and Editorial departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and editing HTML webpages for all active marketing campaigns.
  • Working directly with designers, developers, and copywriters on the creation of secondary marketing webpages and supplemental web materials
  • Using technical skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to work both within our software platforms as well as building standalone web pages that integrate design and functionality for a specific customer engagement outcome
  • Reviewing user interaction with web and marketing materials and suggesting improvements or new opportunities.
  • Working with both the editorial, marketing, and copy teams to implement edits to online content and landing pages
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in frontend HTML production.
  • 1-3 years of working experience in a marketing or web production role.
  • Excellent skills with HTML, CSS.
  • A solid grounding in JavaScript.
  • Ability to transform design mock-ups into functional pages.
  • Strong familiarity with the principles of responsive design.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, dig deep into the details, and be able to communicate in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and a fast learner.
  • Must be interested in keeping up-to-date on the latest frontend web trends and technologies.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Be able to investigate issues under tight time constraints and be able prioritize work accordingly
  • Previous experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and WordPress (preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with SQL (preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with Trello or other online project management tools (preferred, not required)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, XD (preferred, not required)
  • General understanding of proofreading marks and AP Style
  • Willingness to work outside of business hours occasionally
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
  • Visual acuity for reading and using the computer
  • Ability to hear
  • Ability to freely move about the office
  • Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information
  • Fluency in the English language
