Apogee Engineering is seeking Intelligence Analysts, Mid-Level to work with the Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) located at U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM)/J2, Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), NE

What you will be doing:
- Provide situational awareness of adversary threat capabilities to support Indications and Warning
- Author strategic regional/global Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) products to enable deliberate and crisis action planning
- Conduct All Source intelligence research and analysis, synthesize large quantities of complex data, and author intelligence products that conform to Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and USSTRATCOM standards for tradecraft and format.
- Prepare, integrate, brief and publish broad and complex all-source intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessment in coordination with other organizations on adversary strategic deterrence and NC3 related issues to support CDRUSSTRATCOM’s mission areas
- Support the development of intelligence collections requirements and providing feedback and evaluations to IC reporting.
- Support Target Systems Analysis and target folder development for nuclear, kinetic, and non-kinetic targeting efforts.
- Assist the Government to maintain furnished databases and software applications, to include the use of visualization tools, in support of strategic intelligence analysis
- Provide analysis to develop, validate, implement, and modify Command and DoD planning documents requiring insight into foreign strategic forces, policy, intentions and technology.
- Conduct all-source intelligence using a whole-of-government approach to identify Adversary strategic intent and objectives, decision-making processes and influences, capabilities, strategy, and operational plans, including within the cyber/information and space domains.
- Function as a Red Cell and support USSTRATCOM/Strategic Initiative exercises, war-games, and table top exercises.
What you'll need:
- Possess at least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience:
- Supporting plans and JIPOE analysis.
- Preparing, integrating, briefing and publishing broad and complex all-source intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessment
- Supporting the development of intelligence collections requirements and providing feedback and evaluations to IC reporting.
- Providing analysis supporting Target Systems Analysis and target folder development for nuclear, kinetic, and non-kinetic targeting efforts.
- Maintaining Government furnished databases and software applications, to include the use of visualization tools, in support of strategic intelligence analysis
- Providing intelligence analysis experience at an IC or DoD Intelligence Agency, Combatant Command or DoD intelligence unit, or 5+ years of civilian intelligence analysis experience or equivalent academic experience.
- Conducting near-, mid-, and long-term analysis supporting the JIOC’s mission providing current intelligence to senior leadership and deliberate and operational planning.
- Supporting the development of intelligence collections requirements and providing feedback and evaluations to IC reporting.
- Providing analytical support for the development, validation, implementation and modification of current and evolving Command and DoD planning documents requiring insight into foreign strategic forces, policy, intentions and technology
- Possess a current Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
- Possess proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype), Adobe Acrobat, applications such as Internet Explorer.
