Janitorial Worker

We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to fill our crew in the Ascension Parish Schools. This is a full-time opportunity Monday-Friday starting at 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with a pay of $10 per hour.

Requirements:

• Pass an extensive background check
• Pass drug test
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to follow simply instructions and tasks
• Integrity and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
