Janitor/Custodian

First Steps Recovery is the Valley's leading substance abuse treatment provider for persons suffering from alcohol and/or substance use disorders. Our inpatient detox and residential treatment facilities located in the Clovis area and nearby foothills 20 miles East, provide a full continuum of care for those individuals searching for help with substance use disorders. First Steps Recovery is currently searching for a Janitorial Crew Member. The person in this janitorial/custodian position is a motivated individual that loves to clean and has high attention to detail. The Janitorial Crew Member will perform general cleaning and upkeep for our three facilities up in the foothills and our one facility here in Clovis.

General housekeeping/janitorial:

• 
  Be on time, consistent in quality of work, follow established cleaning routine, maintain a consistent pace while working, well-groomed, professional when interfacing with clients.
• Be able to sweep, mop, vacuum, throw out the trash.
• Be able to clean; dust, mirrors/windows, window sills, floors, walls, baseboards, restroom partitions, sinks, toilets, and urinals.
• Be able to disinfect; doorknobs, handrails, major touchpoints.
• Be able to restock; toilet paper/liners, hand soap/towels.
• Maintain janitor's closet; keep clean, organized, dispose of empty boxes, dispose of expired products.
• Be able to transport self and travel between 1 to 4 different job sites within a shift.
• Be able to lift 1 to 25 lbs.

• Have reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years of age or older
