Janitor

JANITOR

The Chateau of Long Beach is a Residential Care Facility for the Elder Community. We are currently seeking a knowledgable and reliable Janitor to join our assisted living team.

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in maintenance and janitorial duties preferred

Job Description:

• Follow cleaning schedule to thoroughly clean resident rooms
• Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas throughout facility
• Remove all excess waste replaces plastic liners
• Clean, scrubs, polishes and sanitize all surfaces, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors in the common area bathrooms.
• Attend monthly inservice meeting and employee training
• Additional duties as assigned by Administration

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Janitor: 1 year (Preferred)
• Assisted living: 1 year (Preferred)
