Janitor

Marton Technologies, Inc (A Panum Group, LLC company), is looking for skilled individuals who are looking to be part of a growing company.
Reports directly to the Central Issue Facility Supervisor. The Janitor cleans and keeps in an orderly condition all break areas, washrooms, building entrances, and common areas as well any authorized requests. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, and restrooms. Qualifications

• Performs cleaning services using proper equipment and supplies, and follows procedures for safe use and operation.
• Cleans and details facilities.
• Removes trash; dusts and polishes equipment, furniture, or fixtures; vacuums carpets, cleans walls, arranges furniture, and cleans window blinds.
• Cleans lavatories, showers, and restrooms, using correct chemicals on all surfaces. Dusts and wipes-down all fixtures, fills all dispensers, empties trash containers, and mops and deodorizes floors.
• Cleans common areas, including hallways and stairwells.
• Removes trash from all trash containers, and lines containers with clean plastic bags.
• Cleans break areas, including tables and microwaves. Sweeps and mops floors, fills dispensers, and empties trash containers.
• Maintains quality of work and customer satisfaction.
• Cleans spills promptly.
• Waxes and buffs floors on a regular basis.
• Cleans and maintains custodial equipment to ensure proper operation and safe condition.
• May operate equipment such as a buffer and cardboard bailer.
