The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Network Administration, Operations and Technology teams. Responsible for administering all of our systems with proficiency, will be tasked with developing documentation and integrating it to our projects, assisting with day to day support activities and contributing towards strategic IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a global team handling user requests through a global ticketing queue
- Provide support to end users on a variety of issues
- Work as part of global team to contribute towards global IT infrastructure projects
- Troubleshoot tier II/III desktop, laptop and mobile device problems
- Develop best-in-class training techniques, documentation, and practices
- Assist in the development and documentation of new processes and existing processes
- Assist in the monthly testing and push of updates
- Administer cloud based tools, such as Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, spam filters, and others
- Conduct user access audits
- Assist in ongoing asset tracking of hardware and licenses
- Contribute towards day-to-day user account administration
- Assist in maintaining backups utilizing Veeam
Technical Skills
- Experience working in VMware
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
- Experience developing technical documentation
- Superior organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Working knowledge of security standards/controls i.e.; ISO 27001, PCI, SOC compliance, etc.
- Strong knowledge of IT elements; PC Hardware knowledge, networking understanding, Active Directory, Windows Server, Group Policy, and others
- Proficiency in administering distributed global networks including VOIP, QOS, MPLS
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7 and 10
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and provide support
- Familiarity with Windows Deployment Services(WDS) and Windows Server Update Services(WSUS)
- Able to work unsupervised, but also willing to seek direction, supervision, and training as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with a wide range of people across many international offices
- Team player willing to help out in all areas
Position Requirements
- College Degree and/or 5 plus years relevant job experience
- Relevant networking or Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, Network+) preferred
- Experience administering Exchange Online and SharePoint Online is a plus
- Proficiency administering AWS or Azure is a plus
