We are currently looking for an IT Support Technician in our Oak Brook, IL office. JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Support Technician is responsible for all tier 1 level incidents and requests for all Innovista employees across markets located in different geographic locations. All tickets should be worked until resolution in an appropriate time frame, based on priority. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for setting up new hires and give appropriate training on all Innovista technical solutions based on job duty needs. The IT Support Technician will work closely with the IT Operations Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve desktop level incidents for employees.
  • Field employee phone calls, emails, and instant messages.
  • Resolve Tier 1 level tickets and escalate to appropriate teams if needed.
  • Setup new accounts via Microsoft Office 365 platform for new hires
  • Help manage cloud hosted Microsoft and Linux servers in Rackspace environment.
  • Support Fonality VOIP phone system, including configuring new devices, setting up phone queues and call menus.
  • Work with offsite employees located at different facilities with different hardware and network environments, with potential need to travel.
  • Assist with internal application password resets and user configurations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
. Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience including technical schooling, help desk, and C# and SQL knowledge.
  • Certifications in Microsoft operating systems & others, C# & SQL required
  • Financial and statistical analytical skills, database development/maintenance skills, and knowledge of computer systems/software applications required.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate analytic skills when problem solving.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications and ability to learn department and job specific software systems.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to commit to Innovista’s corporate mission and values
  • Able to switch priorities in a positive and effective manner when directed by Company leadership.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical concepts with team members and basic business concepts with team members and internal customers.
  • Eligible for consideration of partial work from home status upon completion of probationary period as designated by the direct supervisor.
