This position description incorporates the core responsibilities of the job. The school is willing to modify duties to meet the skills and interests of the instructor as long as the duties meet the needs of the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first-level remote and in-person end-user technology support.
- Setup or configure workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, Smartboards, tablets, Ipads, phones or any other technology devices that staff requires for work in their offices or classrooms.
- Diagnose and repair; computers, printer, scanners, projectors, tablets, Ipads, phones in classrooms and staffs offices.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software.
- Provide teachers with any necessary IT equipment.
- Maintain and upgrade hardware and software.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop applications.
- Basic phone, printers, and computer network system troubleshooting.
- Assist in providing a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings, trainings, and retreats.
- Manage helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
- Maintain communication with the IT-Team and Briya Staff through all communication system, like, Emails, MS. Teams and WhatsApp.
- Coach the school staff as need with applications and technology devices.
- Assist with IT policies and procedures implementation.
- Write and update technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Teaching experience with literacy-level adult language learners preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English required and Spanish preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out moderately complex, multi-step instructions and make appropriate independent decisions as necessary.
Physical Demands Regularly required sitting; frequently required to reach with hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear; must be able to lift objects up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
