Job Description

The Learning & Evaluation department supports CRCD’s missions of being a results-driven
organization while providing quality programming. The IT Specialist will assist with monitoring and
maintaining technology systems, vendor relationships, and hardware installation, configuration, and
inventory. The IT Specialist will provide support to all departments within the organization: Admin,
Housing and Support Services, Real Estate, Workforce Development, and Youth Development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Position roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Hardware/Software Installation and Configuration
  • Ensure all hardware used by CRCD is up to date with latest security features and software.
  • Update hardware as needed; replace parts or replace hardware in its entirety.
  • Maintain hardware inventory across all CRCD departments.
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Create, implement, and support roll out of new applications.
Monitoring and Maintaining Systems
  • Provide first point of contact for all CRCD staff and manage helpdesk ticketing system to provide
troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Ensure all computer systems used are running smoothly and as intended.
  • Ensure system and internal data security is maintained at a high standard, ensuring the integrity
of CRCD’s OneDrive and SharePoint are not compromised.
  • Log all incidents and service requests by department to identify training opportunities.
Vendor Management
  • Manage technical aspects of vendor relationships.
  • Leverage relationships with vendors to ensure service agreements and/or contracts meet
CRCD’s needs and goals of driving technology adoption and usage while managing costs. Staff Training
Training will be conducted in the following areas:
  • Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Internal phone systems (VOIP).
  • Other opportunities identified in the services and incident reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 2-4 years’ experience or related work and/or BS Degree 2. Ability to create, add or manipulate systems to capture staff IT needs 3. Experience in navigating systems environments (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux, etc) 4. Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and presentation skills 5. Self-directed and capable of working to meet quick turnaround and deadlines independently. 6. Reliable transportation: valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by law

WORK ENVIRONMENT

1. On occasion walk or drive to different local sites throughout the day 2. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 35 pounds 3. Combination of field and office environment 4. May necessitate working in busy and loud environments 5. May be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise, and odor

SALARY $42,000 – $45,000
