Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC)* is seeking a talented IT Services Program Manager with government and the Department of Justice (DOJ) experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • *

Role Overview: *

The candidate should have experience interacting with senior Federal Government employees and contracting officers. Individual will serve as subject matter expert in Government Information Technologies and serve as the IT Manager responsible for the quality of IT services to the Federal Client. Will be responsible to ensure client satisfaction with team’s delivery and seek opportunities to expand and grow our work. The position is in the Washington DC area conveniently located near Metro.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manager for all Monthly IT deliverables and communication between FTC and Federal Operations staff
  • This individual is responsible to the VP of Operations to resolve any issues of deficiency in meeting contractual obligations
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the service delivery life cycle of the infrastructure (i.e. Network, Server, Workstation, and Helpdesk)
  • Ability to ensure agency is meeting all required protocols and security requirements.
  • Provide strong organizational, planning and analysis skills in executing critical day-to-day functions and priorities
  • Experience with implementing process or organizational change by articulating a vision for change, associated pros and cons, and a transition roadmap
  • Ability to support multiple initiatives and balance resources and time concurrently to meet emerging requirements and changing priorities
  • Individual with responsibilities for the strategic direction of the IT team to meet the goals of leadership
  • Act as responsible individual for all deliverables to the clients, in terms of quality, timeliness, and accuracy of assignment
  • Responsible for all staffing decisions and assignments of roles for individuals
  • Responsible for dispute resolution between staff and clients where necessary
  • Responsible for all disciplinary discussion and determining corrective actions needed by staff
  • Identifies, acquires, and utilizes company resources to achieve project technical objectives
  • Perform a variety of both complex and routine administrative and analytical duties
  • Mentor program direct reports in operations, program management and business development

Required Skills & Experience*

Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and ten years of related experience including management experience of similar size (Infrastructure Operations for 700+ users)

  • ITIL Certification
  • Management of multiple project initiatives and ongoing operations simultaneously
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and negotiation skills

Strong background in information technologies for large complex organizations
