Job Description

IT SERVER ADMINISTRATOR

The candidate for this position will install, configure, test and maintain the compute, storage and application infrastructure. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, ensuring client/server application availability, performing software and hardware installations and maintenance, vulnerability mitigation, and developing processes, procedures and documentation for ongoing management of the IT infrastructure. The candidate will work with an array of technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, VMWare ESX, EMC Storage Area Networks, Cisco UCS, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and PowerShell. Experience with AWS and Azure cloud technologies is preferred, but not required.

Requirements for the position include a high school diploma (or equivalent), bachelor’s degree in an IT related field (may be waived in lieu of experience), three to five years of experience working with server administration and strong communication skills required. The ability to work late and/or flexible hours as well as occasional overnight and/or road travel required.
