As the IT Senior Operations Specialist for Nestlé’s Workforce Experience team in St. Louis, MO, you’ll be responsible for sustaining, deployment, retirement and leverage of a product or platform. As well as, for operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity and agility goals are achieved. This role may also coordinate activities of specialist and Junior Specialists or cross-streams when involved in projects.

As the IT Senior Operations Specialist for Nestlé’s Workforce Experience team in St. Louis, MO, you’ll be responsible for sustaining, deployment, retirement and leverage of a product or platform. As well as, for operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity and agility goals are achieved. This role may also coordinate activities of specialist and Junior Specialists or cross-streams when involved in projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate Incident/Request/Problem management processes at agreed levels to local operating company (OpCo) and local Informational Technology (IT) North American teams
- Follow Nestlé’s Standard Routines for handling incident management, request management and problem management within a DevOps environment
- Own and manage the relationship with the Incident/Request/Problem/Knowledge Coordinators in their respective operating company and global teams
- Advocate for OpCo the restoration of normal service operation as quickly as possible to minimize the adverse impact on business operations
- Liaise with OpCo to ensure Incident & Request requirements are well documented and understood
- Review escalations and concerns.
- Coordinate with Service Desk, IT North American Towers or OpCo assignment groups on a response
- Provide induction and follow-up training for incident/request/problem/knowledge community; cross-train other members of the team to operate across markets
- Excellent understanding of business complexities and how technologies are successfully applied by best-in-class companies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience within IS/IT
- ITIL foundation certification or 4+ years of ITIL methodology experience
- 1 year or more of experience working with ServiceNow software and workflows
