Facility Profile:TGH is the area’s only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. Job Summary:
As a member of the network team you will be responsible for on-call rotations, infrastructure design, infrastructure build, infrastructure maintenance as well as monitoring and troubleshooting. We are seeking a highly motivated team player with at least 7 years of Cisco network engineering experience. You will be on a team that maintains LAN/WAN/Datacenter and Cloud infrastructure.
Work Expectations:
- Responsible for maintaining infrastructure systems with a team of peers across multiple environments and multiple co-located datacenters.
- Design, build and maintain edge, cloud, data center and WAN environments that are scalable.
- Gather requirements, create designs, and implement prototypes using public and private cloud infrastructures.
- Gather requirements from functional teams for their integrations with third party products.
- Research, install, document, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure needs.
- Train functional teams on usage of thirty party integration products and provide subject matter expertise for enhancements to integrations.
- Maintain stable environments for everyday production, corporate and lab environments for specific use case testing.
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to drive solutions that are simple and repeatable.
- Research new technologies and methodologies to apply to the all levels of networking environments.
- Support the company after-hours, weekends, and holidays in support of an on-call rotation as needed.

Key responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain Citrix and Enterprise Storage (e.g. EMC, Dell, Hitachi, etc.)environments capable of scaling with demand
- Gather requirements, create designs, and implement solutions based on business-need, and also providing our clients a commitment to 100% satisfaction
- Research, install, document, maintain and troubleshoot various and integrated infrastructure needs
- Peer development of team members

Technical Qualifications:
- Ability to independently design, build and maintain edge, cloud, data center and WAN environments that are scalable.
- Edge – Familiarity with BGP design and function, working with ISP’s to negotiate contracts and choose proper edge solutions (Coax vs Fiber options such as Metro-E, Dark Fiber, VPLS, Ring topologies).
- Cloud – Experience with one or more commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) networking tools, configurations, designs preferred.
- Firewalls – Knowledge of Cisco ASA as well as Palo Alto platforms is preferred.
- SD-WAN – Familiarity with SD-WAN concepts and application; Experience with the Meraki security appliances is preferred.
- Wireless – Knowledge of Cisco AirOS and CatOS is required; Experience with Cisco 9800 series controllers, flex connect, Wifi 6 is preferred.
- Data Center – Knowledge of Cisco Nexus is required; Experience with VPC, VSS, OTV, VDC is preferred.
- Load Balancing – Knowledge of Citrix SDX running multiple VPX instances is preferred along with relevant industry experience in F5 platforms such as LTM, GTM, BigIQ
- Internal routing – Knowledge of EIGRP, and OSPF is required; experience with redistribution and policy based routing is preferred.
- Access layer switching – Working experience in an end user switching environment utilizing the latest Cisco Catalyst switching hardware is required.
- DNS – Knowledge of DNS record creation as well as domain registration and administration is preferred.
- Monitoring Tools – Knowledge of PRTG network monitor as well as other industry leading monitoring tools is preferred.
- Architectural Drawing – Experience working with visio to draw infrastructure diagrams preferred.
- Research new technologies and methodologies to apply to the all levels of networking environments.
- Working knowledge of Vmware, Acropolis AHV, or other virtualization platforms preferred.
- Industry experience analyzing packet captures preferred.
- Working experience with the latest Windows Server OS (Windows 2016 or newer) preferred.
- Working experience with Windows 10 required.
- Linux experience preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or higher (preferably in Information Technology and/or Information Systems fields) or relevant network experience
Cisco CCNA Required, CCNP preferred
Cloud Certifications preferred (AZ900)
Citrix/F5 certifications preferred
