IT ERP Specialist:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-oriented ERP Specialist to successfully integrate our future ERP software. You will be collaborating with senior managers to determine ERP needs, design, configure, test and deploy/implement a suitable ERP solution which integrates with existing systems. You will analyze and understand existing software to determine which business processes need optimization and help drive to the development of a Center of Excellence (COE).


What You Will Do:

  • Identify ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation
  • Analyze and understand existing software functions and features
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the team, answering questions and providing guidance
  • Interact with stakeholders, customers and technical resources to design, implement and maintain user-friendly functionalities and interfaces
  • Participate in decision-making to optimize and improve technology management
  • Identify and develop seamless integrations with other IT systems
  • Develop data migration strategy and support the execution of the plan
  • Develop test cases, provide oversight of their execution and manage issue resolution
  • Ensure ERP system meets business requirements and goals while fulfilling user requirements
  • Assist technical teams with change management and technical skills
  • Provide technical support and assist with the development of training and end-user documentation
  • Document the state of ERP configuration
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations
  • Stay abreast of the latest ERP upgrades and offerings

What You Will Need:

Basics:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar field of study preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar ERP role
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Business process analysis and redesign experience
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership Qualities

Preferred:

  • Certification within a functional area of any ERP solution
  • Previous managerial, supervisory or project management experience
  • Big Data and data management expertise
  • Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and experience implementing ERP solutions using Agile methodology
  • Financial or Accounting knowledge (a plus)
  • A background in finance, HR, purchasing or related field would be highly advantageous
