JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber customer service to all patrons/employees of The Borgata Hotel casino and Spa.
Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property.
Establish levels of customer service. Create mechanism to monitor, track and report against these service levels.
Proactively pursue customer service issues and resolve them expediently.
Maintain proactive communication with users as to systems availability and scheduling concerns.
Analyzes business functions in order to develop new or modified information processing systems.
Consults with business unit management and personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements.
Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
Consults with business unit management and personnel to obtain additional information during system development and evaluate alternatives.
Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.
Job RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:
Three plus years’ experience in an IT support business applications support role.
Casino, Hospitality and Financial application support experience preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Well-developed inter-personal skills.
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and kitchen environments.
Exposure to stress situations related to servicing clients in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
Ability to conduct analyses and generate reports to reflect findings.
Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues.
Maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
Ability to prepare and deliver formal presentations before public and private concerns.
Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete workInitiative.
