Job Description
The IT Business Analyst II for the Customer and Agent Team supports our customer and agent facing departments. This team is engaged in projects focused on Digital Strategy, Omnichannel, Customer/Agent Relationship Management and Contact Center initiatives. The Business Analyst II works under general supervision to support IT and Business initiatives. They may lead small sized efforts and support team members throughout the project lifecycle. Under the direction of the senior Business Analysts, they will aide in documenting both business requirements and comprehensive solutions for a number of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Continue to gain the working knowledge of the IT Organization and business systems that they support.
- Understand the Platform business objectives and develop a strong working relationship with business partners and stakeholders that they support.
- Under general supervision, provide quality documentation support for business/functional requirements gathering; process analysis; gap analysis; design of new functionality; and product testing for medium to large sized efforts.
- Develop and Author test strategy, test plans and test cases.
- Execute test cases, report test results, and work with the busing to define severity and priority for each defect.
- Collaborate with others to develop strategies and best practices for QA, regression and UA efforts.
- Communicate appropriate and timely status updates to the direct manager and project manager.
- Under the direction of senior Business Analysts, work with business stakeholders to review and document the "as is" state and collaborate with the team to develop solution options and document the "to be" state documentation through Customer Journeys.
- Develop knowledge of business and technical domains to evaluate solutions for the systems they support.
- Under the direction of senior Business Analysts, continue to develop interpersonal skills that will help to understand the importance of collaborating with stakeholders of all types across the organization.
- Learn how to communicate difficult or sensitive information.
Requirements:
Must be proficient on the following software and tools:
- Microsoft Word for Windows – Advanced
- Microsoft Outlook – Advanced
- Microsoft Excel – Intermediate to Advanced
- Internet/Intranet knowledge
- Training, Education, Special Skills Required
- Bachelors Degree in a related area plus 2-5 years experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience using Agile, Lean or similar methodologies and supporting tools such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus
