Job Description
The IS Contract Resource Manager directs and coordinates all aspects of information services strategic development in the realms of Audit, Change Control, Disaster Management, Contract Review, Standardization of Technologies and Compliance to maximize organizational performance. Coordinates and collaborates with FMOLHS Information Services and Business Owners in order to ensure ongoing and effective integration and compliance of systems with organizational strategies, policies, and processes and excellence in customer service.
Job Duties
- Oversees the development of FMOLHS Information Services policies and procedures in conjunction with FMOLHS Information Services Leadership Team.
- Ensures that Information Services policies and procedures are available and educates personnel on all new and changing documents.
- Coordinates compliance with policies, procedures, practices and organizational structures designed to provide reasonable assurance that Information Services business objectives will be achieved, and undesirable events will be prevented, detected and corrected on a timely basis.
- an active member of FMOLHS Information Security Office (ISPS) in the design of Information Services controls to mitigate business risk and coordinate with business and technical owners to implement controls (e.g. DRP)
- Coordinates Information Services audits with internal and external auditors including reviewing findings and recommending remediation activities to ensure that recommendations provided by internal and external auditors are addressed and effectively implemented on a timely basis to mitigate risk to the organization.
- Oversees Change Management Strategies and Principles for FMOLHS Information Services and ensures that they are being maintained according to FMOLHS Information Services guidelines and policies.
- Responsible for establishing IT vendor management policies and procedures which includes Contract Review for FMOLHS Information Services and monitoring SLA and performance.
- This role is a liaison between IS and legal/compliance but also communicates with all business owners especially executive sponsors.
- Requires excellent communication skills to deal with various vendors/business partners on critical business and compliance issues.
- Develops Information Services Standards and Standard Practices relating IT asset management for all facilities and share services and oversee the process for tracking and monitoring IT assets. Working with other field IS and operational directors to establish and enforce policies across all systems.
Minimum Requirements & Education
- 7 years in a leadership role in IS or customer service-related field
- Bachelor's Degree OR 10 years experience in Information Services
