Job Description

The Performance Analyst will primarily be responsible for the preparation of analytics data needed by Portfolio Management, Investment Oversight, Marketing, Client Service, Legal/Compliance, and additional areas within the enterprise. In addition to analytics support, the Performance Analyst will participate in implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of performance systems as well as additional projects that arise in support of the enterprise.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support reporting needs for investment performance, attribution, characteristics and risk statistics
  • Maintain performance measurement and analytic systems for calculation of portfolio returns and statistics
  • Investigate anomalies in performance and find solutions to align results across platforms
  • Ensure performance accuracy by performing quality control checks with a high level of attention to detail
  • Assist in the development, automation, and enhancement of performance reports
  • Participate in enterprise projects ensuring deadlines are met while collaborating with other business units throughout the firm
  • Utilize multiple tools (both proprietary and third party) to gather information to support periodic and ad hoc reporting requirements

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience in supporting reporting needs for investment performance, attribution, characteristics and risk statistics.
  • Experience in maintain performance measurement system for calculation of portfolio and composites returns and statistics.
  • Experience in troubleshoot and explain the performance results and remediate errors.

Preferred Skills:

  • CIPM or CFA candidate preferred
  • Exhibited skills in problem identification and problem resolution
  • Effective with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience utilizing desktop automation tools (VBA Excel/Access) a plus
  • Experience with SQL queries a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree

Potential Salary: $32.36 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
