Inventory Control Specialist

THE ROLE
We are looking to hire a dedicated and detail orientated Inventory Control Specialist in Manchester, TN. The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for the full spectrum of inventory control.
YOUR TASK

• Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas
• Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs
• Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations
• Assists in developing solutions to specific problem areas
• Compiles, verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• US Military or Veteran a plus
