Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist works with individual locations to organize the location’s inventory while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Maintain cycle count process at location

· Update inventory through cycle count process

· Organize location’s warehouse per guidance from leadership

· Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.

· Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

· Assists with physical inventory audits.

· Performs other related duties as required.

· Will be required to travel to assist in supporting inventory efforts of facilities throughout the country.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.

· Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.

· Proficient keyboarding skills.

· Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

· Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.

· Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Experience with computerized inventory systems a plus.

· Forklift operator certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time.

· Must be comfortable standing and moving throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
