Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Inventory Control

DEPARTMENT: Front of House

LOCATION: Denver, Aurora, and Federal Heights

SUPERVISOR: Store Manager

SALARY: $16.00 per hour which can include tips and commission.

CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt

INTRODUCTION:

Inventory control is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, pulling orders, receiving

incoming products from Packaging Department and Management while communicating current

inventory levels to the sales floor and front desk. Maintaining inventory accuracy and proper

communication reduces wait times and overselling of products. Order accuracy and speed relates

directly with customer satisfaction and encourages repeat business.


REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to obtain a Industry badge through the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division


MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Daily opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of necessary supplies and notify management of those levels

for reordering (I.E exit bags, paper bags, joint tubes, etc.)

  • Make sure the inventory control room is “business” ready at all times.
  • Pulling customer/patient orders.
  • Engage the sales floor and use the chat room’s discussions to communicate with staff.
  • Receiving products.
  • Storing and labeling inventory correctly to company standards and state law
  • Performing daily reconciliation audits and cycle counts.
  • Producing Bay Management Sheets for the Bud Tenders.
  • Update Calendar with expiration dates of incoming products
  • Maintain accuracy of product records in Flowhub and Metrc
  • Cleaning and organizing are to maintain an efficient workspace
  • Ensure all items are in compliant packaging before product leaves the building


KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred


SUPERVISORY CONTROLS:

This position has no supervisory duties.


GUIDELINES:

Guidelines include the personnel and operational manuals; state, local and federal laws,

regulations and ordinances. Guidelines are received from Compliance manual, SOP’s and

employee handbook.


COMPLEXITY:

Work involves reading, analyzing and interpreting complex documents including technical

procedures and governmental regulations.


SCOPE AND EFFECT:

The purpose of the work is to maintain compliance with all applicable local, state and federal

laws; Employees may need to maneuver through the myriad of regulations that may apply; and

assist other employees at all levels to obtain necessary services and benefits.


PERSONAL CONTACTS:

This position requires continuous contact with numerous staff and vendors and customers to

successfully accomplish the duties of the position on a daily basis. This contact includes

employees, managers, Owners, the public, medical clients, and contractors for services.


PURPOSE OF CONTACTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate

professionally in person, over the telephone, through email and other electronic means, move

about the office and company, handle various types of media and equipment, and visually or

otherwise identify, observe and assess.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds unless otherwise specified. The

position also includes climbing ladders, reaching up, bending, walking about in a small space.

BENEFITS:

For all full-time employees, the employer will pay $250.00 towards Employee Health Insurance,

Dental insurance in which the employer will pay half of the employee cost, employee pays for

Vision and Aflac. These benefits are available after 60 days. Company pays for Life at 1 x your

annual salary and Short-Term Disability. We offer a 401k program, with a 6% match after 90

days. Employees will also receive vacation time after three years of service and sick time as

designed by Colorado law.


All new employees will serve a 90-day probationary period to enable the Department Supervisor

to determine their suitability as an employee.
