SUMMARY

Working with direct supervision, the Inventory Control Associate is to cycle count inventory in order to reconcile quantities using a handheld RF unit. Associate will interact with his or her supervisor frequently during each work period. Nearly all but the most routine activities will require a supervisor’s advance approval.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Cycle count product as assigned
  • Moving product to different assigned locations
  • Verify locations to make sure product is in the correct locations
  • Bundle/organize product for easier counting
  • Other duties may be assigned as business needs require

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • At least one year of successful warehouse experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Computer reconciliation to balance inventory
  • Walk and/or stand at least eight (8) hours a day
  • Read computer generated reports
  • Lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
  • Perform basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be computer literate
  • 10-key a plus, but not required
  • Tedious and accurate data entry
  • Processing damaged merchandise to take it out of inventory
