Job Description

The International Sales Director will establish themselves as a trusted advisor to the EVP of Sales and CEO. This individual will partner with leaders from Sales, Finance, and Operations, as well as our Product, Services and Sales teams, directly reporting to the Executive Vice President but working closely across functions. The successful candidate will be an excellent leader who is curious to discover the most efficient ways to run sales operations while managing functions essential to the productivity of the TS Conductor sales team. The leader will act as the voice of sales to the rest of the organization, collect and prioritize sales needs, and drive delivery throughout the rest of the company. This includes planning, reporting, and goal setting. Primary Responsibilities:

- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used with the sales organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. As needed, coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company.
- Identify opportunities and drive the execution of sales process improvements. Work closely with the EVP to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assist EVP in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
- Evaluate sales business processes with an eye for improvement and scalability. Conduct administrative tasks such as AR tracking, revenue, reporting, and sales metrics reporting and other as needed.
- Experience in international electric utility business climate, especially in overhead transmission and distribution line materials
- Experience in international agent recruitment, training, and management
- Create project financing architecture and implement with interested customers, domestic and international
- Experience in project finance and the ability to create solutions for undercapitalized customers
- Familiarity with financial models and the ability to modify and present to potential customers according to their individual needs
- Experience with project management to deliver on company commitments
- Work with senior management to develop annual and multiple year global business strategies for the Energy Transition business segment. Expand market share across TS Conductor respective Geo-Markets, act as the ambassador for the business segment, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate customer needs and challenges and either preempt them or create effective solutions to overcome them while expanding market penetration.
- Promote TS Conductor Transition through Marketing Communications on social media channels, attending trade shows, media events, and conferences, and by preparing Energy Transition business segment marketing & collateral pieces.
- A Self-starter with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- 10 years minimum sales and finance. Electric utility specific experience desired.
- 5+ Years of International experience.
- Proven ability to influence and communicate (interpersonal and presentation) at all levels of both internal and external stakeholders
- 10-25% Domestic and Global Travel
- Global strategic planning and subsequent business development in the Energy Transition business segment
- Proven aptitude for effective decision-making and complex problem-solving.
- B.S. or B.A. in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field. An M.S. or MBA in a related field is a plus.
