ABOUT THE JOB:
The Intern II performs entry-level professional duties of moderate difficulty providing the opportunity for professional training in various offices. They perform their assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance in the workplace.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
- Assist with grocery capital expenditure (CAPEX) tracking: Log CAPEX requests and help facilitate the routing of requests through the approval chain. Upload approved documents into Onbase for storage.
- Assist with logging 7-11 inventory disposition payments on the pending resolution file.
- Assist with weekly data entry for vendor rebate payments, to include verifying completeness and accuracy of the payment forms turned in by Merchandising prior to entry.
- Assist with logging the Post Mix accruals.
- Assist with formatting customer rebate detail reports.
- Assist with the daily check deposit by preparing the cover sheet and sending to North Campus for the deposit.
- Assist with allocating check and wire payments in the South Campus cash journals and saving the support for these allocations into Onbase.
- Assist with scanning and saving into the network drive the Profiles rebate forms.
- Assist with downloading various reports that are required on a period basis.
- Prepare reports, develop summaries, and perform statistical analysis.
- Perform other Division Accounting Support activities as assigned and as time allows.
- Must have basic Excel skills at a minimum.
- Must be organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Must have attention to details.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A teammate in this position must:
- Have obtained at least Sophomore status in a Bachelor Accounting degree program with completion of a minimum of 48 semester credit hours; OR be enrolled in Graduate degree program.
- Be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
- Pass the complete examination, including the employment medical, established for this class.
