Intermediate Solution Architect Analyst

The role is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis, client on-boarding, and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

ISG Cloud is an enterprise grade reference data distribution system serving hundreds of clients globally, using the latest streaming and NoSQL technologies. An ISG Cloud Solutions Architect (SA) works with client application teams to provide training and technical guidance beginning with the onboarding phase and all the way through client production releases to make sure that the resulting interface satisfies the required SLAs and adheres to best practices.

The SA must be fluent with the ISG Cloud technology including the standard interfaces exposed to the clients and be familiar with enterprise technologies used by financial services client applications. The SA will interact with business analysts (BAs) on data requirements, with the project manager on the state of technical project work and with application developers to provide basic technical guidance.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

• A successful solution architect is conversant in the following technologies and be able to leverage them to design basic integration patterns: MongoDB , HTTP/REST , Linux, JSON, Kafka, Websockets

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
