Intelligence and Operations CI Analyst

Chantilly, VA We are looking for team-members with creative talent who are ready to take on the challenge of Intelligence and Operations CI Analyst to work collaboratively in order to further advance cutting-edge technology, products, and services for a large Government agency to detect and mitigate insider threats. The Insider Threat Detection program is manned by a multi-disciplinary team of system and data engineers, data scientists, software developers, intelligence analysts, and investigators to provide insider threat detection and counterintelligence services. This program provides an opportunity to further advance cutting-edge technology, products, and services for a large Government agency to detect and mitigate insider threats. This program takes data from multiple sources in any format (structured or unstructured), transforms it into interpretable fragments, and allow our engines to categorize, quantify, distill, and display results for human analysts to interpret. Team members work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The technology stack is built on cutting edge hardware and software with multiple Windows and Linux environments interfacing with multi-petabyte data processing and analytic platforms - all designed, built, and maintained by our team. We are looking for a Intelligence And Operations CI Analyst that is a self-starter with the mindset that stays up to date with the latest tools and techniques. The field of insider threat detection and mitigation is evolving and growing, and our program needs highly innovative individuals, please keep reading. Roles and responsibilities potentially include:
  • Intelligence and Operations Analysis Specialists analyze information and intelligence and develop research studies and recommendations pertaining to potential security threats to the work of our clients. These employees also provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multilateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility and Areas of Interest.
  • Intelligence and Operations Analysis Specialists handle requirements and collection management, as well as the analysis and evaluation of data assessment strategies. Those strategies may include: sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing and management assessment. Additional responsibilities require research, development and preparation of briefings and analyses which may include narrative, tabular and graphic materials. The Intelligence and Operations Analysis Specialist will work closely with stakeholders to promote information sharing and collaboration. Standard operating procedures, validation criteria for personnel, entities, components, and Communities of Interest will also be developed and disseminated by this employee. The position also requires interpretation and understanding of Intelligence Community policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and objectives, as well as dedicated, centralized, and long-range program and budget expertise. The employee may also be asked to mine data for unknown linkages in existing information or to maintain integrated database tracking systems for controlled correspondence.
  • A technical background (e.g., electrical or aerospace engineering) is also desired, but not required.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to conduct research, analysis, and produce finished intelligence on a variety of topics.
  • Production in one or more of the following areas: FIS operations, foreign denial and deception, computer network operations, counterespionage and economic/industrial espionage, technology protection and illicit technology transfer, investigations support, operations security, and terrorism.
  • Experience/familiarity in one or more of the following disciplines: HUMINT, IMINT, SIGINT, MASINT, or denial and deception.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools and methodologies such as link analysis, time lines, casual-loop analysis, and risk management.
  • Ability to travel worldwide.
  • Customer prefers at least 10 years of experience in the intelligence and/or CI communities.
Preferred/bonus skills:
  • Bachelors degree in a related specialized area or field or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
