Insurance Underwriter

We are seeking individuals interested in a unique career opportunity. First and foremost, we are looking for candidates with good people skills, high verbal aptitude, and analytical ability. A college degree and prior underwriting experience are required.

An Underwriter’s responsibilities at Andover include risk selection, product development, pricing, and communicating with our independent agents. Most time is spent within the home office, although some travel does occur. Education is an important element of our culture. Underwriters are strongly encouraged to become involved in the CPCU and ARe programs, along with any additional educational opportunities that would enhance an individual’s skill set.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $77.00 per hour
